This world-renowned program will be held 11 – 14 June 2018 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA and is co-located for the first time with the Forest Products Society’s 72nd International Convention.

Deadline to submit abstracts is 1 December 2017. Submit title and 300-word (or shorter) abstract via TAPPI’s Speaker Management System.

The theme for 2018 is “Cellulose Materials – Solutions for Industry Applications” and features topics on:

  • Industrial Production and Use
    • Industrial and Pilot Scale Production
    • Industrial Applications/End Uses
  • Technical Presentations on New Research Findings in:
    • Characterization and Metrology from the Lab to Production Plant
    • Mediated Assembly
    • Composite Processing and Testing
    • Paper and Packaging
    • Functional Materials and Soft Matter
    • Biomedical Applications
    • Nanocellulose Electronics, Photonics and Energy Technologies
    • Product Stewardship and Safety
